In the fall of 2019 United Way of Natrona County absorbed the Campbell County area in order to maintain the structure that allows dedicated donors in Campbell County to continue to support your communities greatest need through your Workplace Campaigns! And we couldn’t be more thrilled!!
Now, one thing we know and understand is that no one knows your community like you and your neighbors, so not only will 90% your donation continue to support local agencies, but we are recruiting local partners who will dedicate a bit of time to help us with allocations and decisions on how to ensure those dollars are supporting the greatest needs and the strongest organizations.
We are so delighted to join forces with you, our neighbors, as we share the same passion for affecting change in our communities with opportunities to GIVE. ADVOCATE. VOLUNTEER.
Following established guidelines provided by United Way Worldwide a 10% operating fee will be withheld from all donations from Campbell County. This fee will allow us to travel to and from Casper, host Campbell County specific events and activities and eventually support local marketing efforts. We understand that this may be shocking and may even raise concerns about continuing to participate or donate but this is a much lower percentage of your donation going toward operations than when your county supports its own local chapter. The average percentage of donations nationally supporting organizational operations is 35% for nonprofits. Wow! Who knew, the Natrona County team serving as a fiscal agent for your community actually puts 25% more donations into the hands of those agencies who need your support!
We have been working diligently to make sure that the transition is as seamless as possible and are totally open to any suggestions you may have in order to make it pleasant for you and your teams. You may notice some slight changes (for example, we have not yet ordered new pledge forms so this year’s forms will say Natrona County but we’ll get those tweaks made prior to next year’s campaign). Other changes will take place on our end and will be hardly noticed by you or your teams.

Why hold a Workplace Campaign?
Holding a UNITED WAY campaign provides your employees with a rewarding team building experience and allows your organization an opportunity to play a direct role in supporting the greatest needs of our community.
What does it take to run a campaign?
Every Workplace Campaign looks different and is developed to specifically meet your company's desired outcomes. It can be as simple and convenient as coordinating donations through payroll deduction or could involve a season or series of fundraising event and activities throughout your campaign. Our team at UNITED WAY OF NATRONA COUNTY can assist with materials, education and information as well as spend time with your leadership or entire team helping to engage and raise awareness of the impact of investment to the UNITED WAY and our partner agencies.
Employee Campaign Coordinators
At the heart of our Workplace Campaign is our volunteer Employee Campaign Coordinators (ECC) serving as the face, the cheerleader, the change-maker at the company level. Through education and inspiration these folks drive home the mission of UNITED WAY and help raise interest and enthusiasm for individual involvement.
If you are currently an ECC, click on our toolbox below for resources that will help you throughout every stage of your campaign—from your initial meetings with Senior Management to thanking and celebrating your donors. If you have questions or need help, we are just an e-mail or phone call away.
