The United Way of Natrona County kicked off their 65th Workplace Campaign with a Picnic at Crossroads Park in Casper on August 13th. The picnic was an opportunity to celebrate 65 years of the Workplace Campaign in Natrona County and join with likeminded community members dedicated to making the community better.
During the picnic, new and returning Workplace Campaign partners gathered their teams to enjoy some food, pick up their campaign packets and exchange ideas with other Workplace Campaign leaders. The picnic also gave United Way staff and board members the opportunity to answer questions, discuss 2020 initiatives and showcase the work that is being done by United Way’s 25 partner agencies.
The Workplace Campaign is an annual challenge to Natrona County businesses to organize a workplace fundraiser to help address Natrona County’s greatest needs. Each business tailors its campaign to its workforce and desired outcomes. Over the last year, more than 94% of United Way of Natrona County’s funds were a direct result of generous companies whose leaders recognized community needs and committed to an annual giving campaign within their workplaces.
