Job description:
Seton House is seeking a caring professional to coach single-parent families as they journey toward independence. We are a small non-profit organization located in North Casper. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, non-judgmental, encouraging, patient and ready to serve others. Seton House is looking for an excellent communicator and a team player. The position is full-time from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM M-F with occasional other commitments. (One evening fundraiser event, 2-3 weekend family activities including photos with Santa and an Easter egg hunt, community BBQs in the summer.)

Seton House provides personal and professional development through the Connections program–a formally licensed program through Connections to Success. Staff provide support services and transitional housing to participant families. Our commitment to the families we are serving is lifelong. Training through Connections will be provided upon hire.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain trusting relationships with participants.
Advocate for program participants who are or have experienced trauma and homelessness.
Make referrals as needed for each individual to partnering agencies and assist with follow-through.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Seton House and outside agencies, schools and community as necessary to provide services. Establish professional, caring, strength-based relationships built on respect, encouragement and trust to ensure a successful and healthy living environment.
Collaboratively process inquiries, conduct interviews, schedule and complete initial intake procedures with program participants.
Assist through the Connections coaching process the development of a life plan including individualized short and long-term goals. Provide ongoing support and encouragement, accountability and resources.
Navigate and work collaboratively with community resources implementing best practice solutions for participants experiencing homelessness.
Work with the entire Seton House team to support family recreation, the building of social capital among clients and support all fundraising and PR objectives for the growth of the organization
Qualifications: Baccalaureate Degree in Social Work or closely related field.

2 years of case management or other support services for families with children in homeless services or in a community support setting.
Effective oral, written and electronic skills.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,000.00 – $44,000.00 per year
